This guide details the full process to virtual instrument authorization. It consists in 2 major steps: 1. Register your synthesizer on your Arturia account 2. Download a license on your eLicenser dongle (being virtual or hardware)

Origin Firmware update v1.1.59.
This new version includes:

• New ToneWheel Oscillator:
  -Combined with the Rotary Speaker, the ToneWheel allows the addition of famous vintage organ sounds, opening Origin to this sonic universe.
  -In conjunction with other Origin modules and effects, the ToneWheel is a great oscillator adding new sound design possibilities to explore.
• New Rotary Speaker:
  The Rotary Speaker can be used on the ToneWheel to give the classic Hammond organ sound, but it is also very interesting in other contexts, notably when used on an audio input (such as a guitar).
• New CS-80 envelope: This envelope is modelled after the particular envelope set on the filter of the CS-80
• New Effects: Bit Crusher, Equalizer, Ring Mod, Parametric EQ, Tube Distortion.
• New MIDI possibilities:
  -Origin to be used as a MIDI controller
  -Origin to be automated via CC MIDI.
• Sequencer improvements:
  -Better GUI
  -New performance mode.
• Keyboard Module enhancements, notably New Glissando mode.
• GUI Improvements: Parameter values are now fully displayed.

• Increased stability in Multi Mode
• Increased stability while editing programs
• Fixed some issues on MIDI event management

The v1.1 of the Jupiter-8V includes:

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug when audio buffer is not multiple of 64
• Fixed the compatibility issue with Kore
• Fixed the non-linearity bug on the envelope

• Fixed a tuning problem when running RTAS plug-in in non 44.1 sample rate

Installation HOW TO:

• Uncompress the downloaded file
• Launch the installation file
• If you already installed a previous version, please check that the installation directory of the update is the same that the installation directory of the previous version
• If prompted for installing a recent version of the Syncrosoft Control Center, choose yes and follow the instructions

• Better management of the key parameters: 4 LCD’s now displays the parameter controlled by the “Key parameter” knobs.
• New set of performance parameters: Some new parameters are accessible for each sound, the pitch-bend range, the polyphony number, the polyphony mode(Mono, unison, poly), the size of a step in a sequence, and the MIDI synchronization on the LFO.
• Modulation Wheel improved support: All sounds now respond to the modulation wheel.
• Mac Power PC version now compatible with Logic and other Audio Unit hosts

Bug corrections:

• Version 2.2 address issues when running in Pro Tools on Mac OS X Leopard
• When using the Analog Factory Experience keyboard with a host (Cubase, ProTools, Logic…) there was a problem when a current preset was changed; the virtual knobs would keep their previous value. This is no longer the case.
• Audible steps when stepping filters removed
• Some computers holding a specific video card got a blank window under Leopard. This is no longer the case.
• Mac OS X: Menu bar has been moved where it should be, at the top of the screen
• Reported Crash in Logic and Live 6/Live 7 in various circumstances fixed

The version 1.2.1 of the Prophet V (released on 2008-01-18) fixes the bug of the 1.2 version with Cubase 3. 

The version 1.2 of the Prophet V (released on 2008-01-15) includes:

• VST 2.4 support, allowing for Cubase 4 compatibility on Mac Intel
• RTAS 7.3 support
• Correction of different bugs such as the cracks some would experience when using several instances of the Prophet V in their sequencer.

Version 2.0 major update now available.

Version 1.2 or 1.1 mainly corrects 4 bugs:

• In the PC installer, when choosing "SSE" choice it was installing "SSE2" version instead, which is not compatible with Athlon and P3 processors. The users on Athlon were getting a "could not find the DLL" error message. They then had to install the generic version instead which is not as optimized as the other one. In the 1.1 version, the installer has been changed so that "SSE" choice is a real SSE choice. Then users who have an Athlon processor can install it and benefit from the optimizations, too.

• There is an annoying problem in version 1.0. When reloading a project in a sequencer using a saxophone of BRASS, the saxophone was not correctly initialized and its sound was bad. Moreover, BRASS could become unstable because of this problem. This issue has been corrected in 1.1 version.
• On PC, when Brass 1.0 is installed in Protools, ProTools does not close correctly. Then it is not possible to restart it. This problem has been also corrected in 1.1 version.
• Brass did not open in Singer Song Writer 8.0 VS (a Japanese sequencer).

This is the v1.2 update of the ARP2600 V. This update is not compatible with the demo version. This update does not require the previous ARP2600 V updates to be installed on your computer.

This is the v2.5 update of the MoogModular V .

This version is protected by Syncrosoft and require an Activation Code

The v2.2 update  update is not compatible with the demo version. This update does not require the previous Moog Modular V updates to be installed on your computer.
