This new kit from version 1.4 includes everything to tear up the dancefloor, from deep techno basses to sharp house percussion. The included patterns give you a solid base to compose the heaviest Tech House tracks.
This track was made using the 80s studio drum kit, and quite a bit of Spark's compressor to give it a big 'French touch 2.0' sound. The patterns and effects were played live and recorded, synths and external effects (gating and side-chaining) added later.
This track was done using Spark sounds exclusively. The drums and percussion come from the 909 preset, and the synth and bass tracks use the Synth bass preset. Automation was used on quite a few of the instruments to give movement, EQ and compression was added on top of the final mix.
A modern Hip Hop kit with deep kick and abstract percussion, this demo was made using three different spark kits for drums, percussion and bass. Spark's realtime FX were played live and additional compression and EQ were added in post production.
This demo uses 2 spark drum kits: Block Party for the main groove and Big Stacks for the 'filler'. The main groove uses the Shift feature to give some pocket to the groove and loosen up the feel, resulting in a fairly laid-back 'west coast' feel that gets fairly messed-up thanks to Spark's FX pad and Looper function.
This track is recorded in real time, tweaking the cutoff, effects, mutes and volumes to obtain an organic Dub groove. All FX's and bass sounds come from Spark. A piano sample was added on the final mix.
This track is a demo of the TR-909 emulation. The first part explores the classic sounds of this famous analog drum machine. The second part emphasizes on the tweakability of Arturia's version.
