This tip applies to Mac users only. SOLUTION#1 Open the Finder, locate this folder: <Mac>/Library/<instrument_name>/ Do a right-click onto, or [Cmd]+I, then select "Get Info". Change the rights to "Read & Write" for every user on the machine. Apply the changes by clicking on the gear icon: "Apply to enclosed items" Now launch the software instrument, for the last time enter the authorization code. Relaunch it to ensure the problem has gone away.
SOLUTION#2 If still no luck, delete these folders: <Mac>/Library/Arturia/<instrument_name>/ ...then reinstall the instrument, launch and authorize it, have a quick test, then relaunch to check everything runs just fine now.
SOLUTION#3 (Analog Player vs. OS X Lion) It looks like, under Lion, the installer is failing to create a required folder in the System's Library Folder. To fix it, do the following:
Now launch the software instrument, for the last time enter the authorization code. Relaunch it to ensure the problem has gone away. After running the application and authorization, 3 files should now appear in /Library/Arturia/Analog Player:
If still having problems, try setting open privileges on /Library/Application Support/Arturia/AnalogPlayer: sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Application\ Support/Arturia/AnalogPlayer |
