Title: Standalone MIDI/arpeggiator question
Post by: lazyhour on November 18, 2012, 08:57:40 pm
Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying the Analog Player Experience controller+software, and I have thwo questions that I hope someone who's got to grips with the controller can answer...

1) Does the arp function work in standalone MIDI mode, ie when sending data from the controller straight to a MIDI synth like a Mopho, Nanozwerg, Minitaur etc? Does anyone have any experience using it in this way?

2) Does the keyboard also work as a generic USB-MIDI controller on a computer without the Arturia Analog Player software?

Thanks so much in advance, and if the answer to these two questions is yes, it's a must-buy!

Hi lazyhour (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=582946)

The keyboard controller dosn't have an ARP function.

2) Does the keyboard also work as a generic USB-MIDI controller on a computer without the Arturia Analog Player software?

Yes it does. You can use the universal keyboard controller with every other software that supports MIDI value input.

Hope this is helping,

Manuel
