Title: Spark midi In clock sync
Post by: rodanmusic on December 19, 2012, 08:49:00 pm
Is spark still unable to sync to an external hardware's midi clock (using spark in standalone)?

A lot of little things like this are really making Spark difficult to use effectively.  I am trying to get around the midi clock  start /stop sync issues that arise when using the computer as the master clock for external synths and an external sequencer.

I really like how Spark sounds and would like to use it in standalone and have it respond to my rm1x sequencer, but it's starting to look like I might need to just buy the $770 innerclock systems sync-gen 2 in order to simply use my midi hardware in sync.

I'm going to be broke before this is all working lol.

Oops I'm retarded.  I forgot I downgraded to 1.4.  I see it now in 1.5, now lets see if I can get it to work!

Hi again.  I got the midi in working just fine from my RM1x to Spark.

Just wanted to say sorry for jumping to conclusions and putting the blame on Arturia.  I really do like this spark thing.  Especially the sound of the drums.
