Title: Input Output Device To Allow Direct Input Of Spark Drum Sounds Analog Recorder
Post by: Bandiwine on January 07, 2013, 08:54:52 pm
Hi,
One of the things missing in Spark is a direct input and output to your recorder, amp in case you want to input Spark drums to a analog or perhaps a optical input recorder, a amp or even to your computer.  This would open up even more options for Spark to be used.  Think out of the box and make it happen.  I guess you would have to make a entirely different Spark to get it to work as a stand alone unit.  This is a good new years resolution.

Why should a pure controller have audio capabilities, when it has no own sound-generating hardware? If the controller would have audio in/outs, then you still would have to use a comp to generate sounds. And it' simpler and faster to use an existing audio device than extra-routing Spark's software-based sounds to another device.
