Thanks. I can't wait to hear it. I've been trying to copy the tone of the keyboard part from the song "Losing It" (same album) for the longest time. Maybe this will give me a different place to start.

It's a pretty spot on sound setup, takes a set of speakers that can reproduce the low end cleanly, but really dang close, even down to the modulation on the taurus pedal part.
I'm curious though, is there a way to add the mod wheel function to the upper part, for like the end of the keyboard solo?

Cant open it..which version of Analog Lab are you using? (I am using 1.0.4) could you maybe do a screenshot of your setup? Im on a mac..the files it will read (I saved a preset) and it reads .lsx..Thanks Im trying to do a cover of this song and really like to hear your take on the synth.

I just clicked on it, saved it.
Opened it up & saved it as a scene rather than a preset, as it is comprised of 2 presets in .scn file format.
I don't have any special tricks.

I don't think there's the ability to edit the synth preset within the scene mode. Because of that, you should try the modulation at the end of the solo using the pitch bend.

Yes, to piggy back that, Scene is just the accumulation of 2 presets summed together. You would have to go to the original presets and assign the mod-wheel accordingly. Even without the Mod assignment, I've found this "Scene" to be quite useful as one of my now "go to" tones.
As I roll through the presets, I hear all kinds of RUSH applications. The Taurus pedal presets are pretty spot on, so is the "wind" ala the intro to 2112 Overture.

If you have the 2600 program, Ghosts3 and Happy Landing make good 2112 sounds, once you adjust them a little bit. Play with the LFO rate, the cutoff and resonance and it's almost spot on.
