Title: Sustain Pedal Polarity is Reversed
Post by: Jeff Marsh on February 23, 2013, 12:08:30 am
Does anyone know the solution to this problem?  ::)

The Prophet V will sustain when the pedal is not used, and will stop sustaining when the pedal is pressed.

Thanks

This issue also shows up in the Prophet V 2.0 & Mainstage 2.1.2 - Notes "Stuck" thread below. This seems to have been a problem for a long time, but for some reason hasn't been addressed. It really sucks because Prophet V is a nice synth, but this issue makes using it too much of a problem.

I got Prophet with Analog Laboratory and hardware keyboard. Sustain was reversed on mine at delivery. I could fix that on the keyboard settings.

But If you have another keyboard this is not valid of course.

But there are other issues with sustain and prohphet - look in the Hold pedal - thread not far down. This has been known for 9 month+ by now - and still not fixed.

I start to think Arturia is really suffering from braindrain. Some major developers quit or something.
So all Arturia is about to be uninstalled on my computer. You cannot make yourself dependent of faulty software with companies with no ambition or competence.

Hi

I guess you have the last version of the prophet, I will see if the support has some info about this issue, on what version did you see this ? is it the same in all hosts ?

Best

Experiencing the same problem here with prophet 2.5.3.

Tried with ableton 8.3.4 or 9.0.3 and reaper 4.32

Conclusion, the plugin is unusable.
Thanks to fix it quickly.
