Simple concept, similar to the voice processor (which is an odd name for a modulation sequencer). Essentially it's the same thing but with each step simply sending out a trigger if it is on. This could be used to create voice level trigger patterns.
I'd also really like to see a clock divider in the voice processor so different 'tracks' could run at different rates.

I could be wrong but I think I have been able to use the voice modulator as a triggering device.

You can,I imagine, but wouldn't you loose half resolution (so only 4 steps) since you need to cross the zero threshold to trigger again?
I haven't experimented with this, but I will have to.

Good point, I think you're right! I know I ran into this half resolution issue when (ab)using one of the sequencer "note" outputs as another envelope trigger track. And I'm pretty sure I ran into the same thing with the voice processor.

A work around....use the trigger to retrigger an LFO synched at twice the resolution of the trigger. The only thing there is you will always get double triggers.
