Title: how to shorten sounds, more control and less echo

id like to be able to shorten those sounds that echo for like 10 seconds. the second i take my finger off the key id like the sound to stop. can this be done in jupiter 8v with the effects or is this a setting that i have to change in FL STUDIO?

help is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Just to make sure, have you tried to decrease the release (R) in the envelope (ENV1 or ENV2) ?
