I got a used player from guitar center. I didn't mind not getting the software as I have more than enough vst synths already. I just wanted to use the keyboard as a controller. But my DAW doesn't read the keyboard. I can't find any sort of driver installation software online. Do I really have to buy the original software in order to install a driver for this keyboard?
-
I have the same question. Is it so difficult to answer?
-
Have you checked this page for the appropriate driver software?
http://www.arturia.com/support/downloads&manuals
And have you checked the MIDI settings page in your DAW? You may need to tick a box or select a unit before the controller gets recognized.

I have no signal on delay and chorus knobs. Software Moog V and Moog Modular.
-
Have you tried to establish a link by means of the MIDI 'Learn' button?
-
Yes. Silence. These two applications do not work together. Midi shows that the signal goes from the knobs.
-
Does that mean that you see the knobs move on-screen in corresponce with those on your controller, but do not hear the effects at all? I don't have your type of controller, but in case yours has 2 banks, maybe try and see if the same happens if you assign those functions from another bank.
-
Yes it is. Midi Control Center defines my Player and responsive to the signal, but is silent.

If I were you, I'd keep on experimenting in order to determine if the issue is hardware related or software related. It could still be possible that you are missing something and the solution is nearby. If you are in Modular, go try every type of template (except the blanks) and see what happens.
If nothing happens, try and see what happens if you are using another synth. There are many free synths available. Try for instance Synth1 or TAL Noise Maker (in which you can also assign functions to buttons). If you find out that your controller responds normal elsewhere, it is likely that there's an issue with your settings and parameters and you may still be able to sort things out.

Understood. Not only works delay knob.

Not only works delay knob.
I don't quite understand what you are saying.
Maybe you mean to say that the delay knob isn't the only thing that isn't working, and other ones aren't working too?
Have you tried the following:
In order to activate the Dual Delay and Chorus function in Modular, you should lower the switches in those sections, so the VCA1/VCA2 lights turn on. With no lights on, the effects are not active.
