Title: How to calibrate the keyboard pitch range?
Post by: svmcwd on November 06, 2013, 04:44:27 am
As we all know, Arturia does a bad job at calibrating the Minibrute and also a bad job at replying to support questions (my new support tickets even seem to get deleted immidiately by now, at least I can't see any of them listed)...

So I ask the experienced users of you: how to calibrate the keyboard range of the Minibrute? Which one of the screws in the back was the correct one?

I remember roughly seeing some detailed description to it, but I can't find it anymore...

Done the calibrating now, and figured while having a really huge calibration range with multi-turn resistor, it is really hard to keep the screw at the perfect pitch point when removing the screwdriver. Am I doing something wrong or is it really that sensitive?

Right now it's ok from middle C to highest C, but off when going down to the lowest C. Did I turn the screw too far in one direction or something? Is there any trick to it?

Something is screwy about this.  ;D

you can use this procedure. maybe not the fastest one, but it works
But indeed it's a sensitive setting.

Thanks! Could you make all the technotes public for anyone sorted in a single list? Some of them seem pretty essential and although it is great to get personal support here the full access to all known and relevant issues could avoid a lot of dissactifaction.

That'd be a great idea!  I've seen TECHNOTES 1, 3, 4, & 7 being attached here on the forum, but indeed it'd be of use to have a look at the other ones as well.  Would be much appreciated.

Thanks
