I have only dreamt of owning a synthsizer like Keith Emerson used since I first saw him (of ELP) play at the Montreal Forum in 1973. I became an engineer because of those sounds and wished to get one for myself.
The Modular V from Arturia has placed me on a new path. I always wanted to create music and now, I can.
After listening to the default C. Engel patches, I was blown away by the sound produced. I can't wait to get as much info regarding each module and how they inter-relate. Lots of reading to be done.
Also just purchased the Dongle so that I can transfer the licence to my laptop to experiment while at the cottage or away on vacation. At least I'm hoping the dongle is the way to go in order to transfer the license.
The cost of both the Modular V and the dongle is actually quite affordable on my miniscule budget. I recommend the software to anyone willing to use this instrument.
