Title: Spark lE crashed unable: project not in software but is on hard drive
Post by: Digz8000 on March 15, 2014, 08:26:42 pm
Hello,

While I was working on a project where I made my own kit, Spark LE software crashed and now I do not see my project to load. I checked on my hard drive and the project is there so why is it gone in the software? This is annoying and it's a project I put some time and effort into.

Thanks,
Dean

Is there a .dat file still in the project folder?

Unfortunately no dat file(s). Just shows files for drum 1 - 16. Then in each file another folder that says Layer and then the AIFF file for the instrument and the WAV file for the sound.

Sorry but i think you project is lost...
You can try to reload each wav files on your instruments but all the rest is lost...

Hi Ben,

Could you implement an Auto-Save or Backup? I experience crashes using the internal File Browser as well as when loading Factory Projects, it would be good to have some security in this area so that at least some work can be recovered. I do try to save as often as I can but...

This is a very good idea but also a big piece of work :)
