Hi
I thought this issue might be related to the other threads regarding 2.5 deleting favorites and presets, but it appears it is not, so ...
I have edited and saved some presets which I'm using in a current project. However, often when I reload the project, a number of Analog Factory instances are playing the default preset, NOT the one that they were saved with and which should be loaded. When I check the presets list, a number of my edited presets have disappeared. I have to recreate them, resave them and hope that they will still be there next time I load the project - often they are not.
This is becoming a major issue for me. Many thanks in advance for assistance on how to stop AF deleting its own presets and favorites.
System is OS x 10.5.8, host is Vienna Ensemble Pro.
Many thanks
Jules Bromley

I'd really be grateful for a reply on this if at all possible.
I keep restarting my host every morning, only to find that any presets I saved and renamed the previous day (with the default suffix "copy") have disappeared.
I'm starting to lose faith a little - there's nothing worse than losing presets when you're trying to keep some kind of workflow going.
Many thanks for any help.

I have still had no response to this thread, or to my emails to Arturia many months ago, requesting help with this issue.
I spend hours marking up favorites and saving my own variation of patches, and then the next time I load AF, the favorites have disappeared, and my own saved copies of patches have also disappeared.
I would be grateful for your urgent response.
Many thanks

I'm having the same problem with Snow Leopard, Cubase LE4 and AF 2.5. I now write down my patch settings before they disappear. Not the end of the world because I will write them down eventually anyway, but if you play live that would be a serious problem.

I had an email last week from Arturia saying they have reproduced the issue.
Hopefully this means a fix will be on it's way very soon. Unfortunately, writing down every tweak and change I make to a preset for every session isn't really practical.

Well, I am having this issue and it's over a year since the last response to this thread. Can't save presets, favorites, or snapshots. Useless.

@vishnu219
If you still encounter the problem despite Analog Factory version 2.5.1, please send me your case number via private mail for deeper inspection.

Hi !
I have the same issue.
User presets, Favorites and Snapshots deleted each time I close and reopen AF.
It's like a complete reinitialization of the software every time I open it.
I'm using it on stage, so it's a big problem.
Config :
Analog Factory 2.5.1 Standalone
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 on Macbook Pro.
Thanks for your support.

@Antoine :
I see you asked vishnu219 the case number. Do you need mine ?
@Vishnu219 :
Are you running AF on OS X Lion too ?

Hi there.
There's a solution to keep user presets although they're deleted every time you exit AF.
Once you've saved your user presets, you can export them on the computer. Then you're able to import them back at every AF reopening.
It's helpful but you'll still have to tick back your favorites and reassign snapshots buttons.
I'll be waiting for a fix anyway ;)
Plus, I noted an other bug that might be related. Options and Audio/Midi Preferences are also reseted to original configuration on AF stops and starts.

I also have this problem. I tweaked a bass sound, saved it as a user preset, made an AMAZING tune with it, and now it's not there when I re-open. And I don't know what preset I even started the sound with now. I'm on Mac Lion 10.7.3. Using Cubase Elements 6. I tested it again, saving a preset, saving Cubase, closing and re-opening, and the preset is gone. Can we get a fix for this please?

Seems that the folder that stores the presets was missing - I found this post - http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=3619.msg12077#msg12077
I checked and I didn't have the folder Library/Arturia/Analog Factory. I found that folder on an old backup from Snow Leopard, so I copied it over, along with the files inside (see below), and now my user presets are staying there after closing.

Still don't have my amazing bass sound though. Time to trawl through 3500 presets trying to find what I used as a starting point I guess... :'(
