Title: Mini V Orig, 3rd Osc LFO?
Post by: Gothboy on July 04, 2012, 02:29:46 am
Can you do this with this version because I've tried and can't get it to work.  Maddeningly the manual makes no mention of exactly how it's done.  All I can make Osc 3 do is beat in the low frequencies.

As far as I know the 3rd Osc. has to be off in the mixer and when the 3rd Osc, range is all the way down it will mod the other 2.  The tuning knob on the 3rd. Osc. will change the LFO speed. This is how it is done on the Model D but since I don't have one please correct me and let me know if this can be done on this version.

Oh and what are the little cables on the left side over the bend switch and what purpose do they serve?

Hope this helps, it works for me:

The “Oscillator Modulation” switch modulates oscillators 1,2 and 3 via oscillator
3 with an amplitude that is dependant on the modulation wheel. If we don’t want
to have oscillator 3 modulate itself, we need to deactivate the switch.

The cables on the left:
The “Glide” switch: activates or deactivates the glide. It can be controlled by a foot
switch pedal. In this case you must click on the jack on the left.
The same is true for the “Decay” switch activating the time for the return to zero of the
envelopes.
