Import: No.

For me it doesn't make much sense to have an import function for a monophnic 16 step sequencer.

Writing the code to handle all the exceptions (multiple tracks, polyphonic pattern, unquantized notes, patterns with more than 16 steps, glides etc.) will be more effort than coding the main import function for importing a monophonic 16 step pattern.
I think it shouldn't be too difficult to enter 16 notes into the sequencer, right?

u r right, but fi i have small sequences in my live set, from my Mg minitaur.  that i  now sampled, would be nice to sequence and modulatet hem with the beatstep

Writing a small programm to do this might not take longer than a weekend I think. So maybe someday somebody will do this.
Of course it would be essential to know all the details about the BeatStep SysEx format. As far as I know this has not been made public yet (?) which means the protocal has to be reversed engineered by using MidiCenter and BS first.

I'm in doubt that Arturia will have time to write an import routine for their Midi Center software but who knows?

Not quite the same, but can't you just replicate the pattern, and store it on the beatstep before you go to a gig?
