Title: Spark 2: Importing Spark kits
Post by: rrooyyccee on May 28, 2014, 10:56:10 pm
Hello,

I'm having some trouble importing Spark kits made by other users posted in the forums.

I see some mention that it may matter if the kit was created on a mac or a pc. Is this really the case, or is it a Spark 2 issue?

Thank you!

It might have been me who said this

I only assumed it as there was someone elses  kit with separate win/mac folders

Also a mac user was unable to successfully import a kit I made on windows

Actually I had no feedback so I don't know if anyone has successfully imported it on windows

Im still assuming though its separate for win/mac I was hoping someone would confirm

It should be possible to import a project no matter if you are on Mac or Windows and no mater the project has been exported on Mac or Windows.
However we are aware of a possible problem on Mac OS.
I will have a look at this in the upcoming days.

I am actually using Newest version of spark on a win 7 machine, I am making custom kits. I want to save them and export to my live laptop, which is a OLD macbook that runs spark 1.6. If i try to import these custom kits, the kits never show up in the library. nothing happens when I import. Other kits downloaded off this forum have worked fine on the macbook. Is there a workaround for this?

BTW, spark is great, but highly buggy! On both my Mac and PC, every version  I have used (1.6 +)
