Title: I'll start the ball rolling patch wise....
Post by: FlameTop on February 01, 2005, 11:34:38 pm
Just a few patches I have knocked up over the past couple of evenings since I bought 2600V.

Oh, some of the sequencer patches are free running, you need to hit the start button on the sequencer.

Hi Flametop

Glad to see these patches. Just downloaded and will check out.
How did you find the 2600V to program? I find it pretty easy compared to the Mg Modular, although that has a few more modules. But this interface seems easier to tackle and also keep clean :-)

Hi Tim,

Yes I too find the 2600V simpler to patch than the MMV. Part of this seems to be the pre-wired connections but also I feel some if it is because the 2600 has less modules :) I find with the MMV its very tempting to bung the kitchen sink at every patch; you know, 9 vcos, three filters etc etc.

There are a few things from the MMV I am missing though. Its seems strange they left out the external sequencer start/stop events from the routes to the internal sequencer start stop buttons? I like to use the old style sequencers for free running backings and like them synced to the start and stop of my host.

cheers
