Minibrute serial number for warranty registration is too long?

When I go to the Arturia registration website page, it has several fields with 'XXXX' to indicate how many digits of the serial number to enter per field. But for a hardware device such as the MiniBrute, there are too many digits (and the website responds that the partial serial number has been registered to someone else).

How do I register my MiniBrute?

please try using the serial on the sticker under the machine, not the one given as an example on the registration card.
indeed number of XXX is wrong for hardware but it should work fine.

Yes, I had used the number from the bottom sticker when I encountered the problem.

The solution was to keep entering numbers into a field until it wouldn't accept any more digits, then move to the next field.
