we are currentlyt in RC test.
I did not uploaded it because we are trying to find and resolve all the compatibility issues.
Then I will upload the final RC (hopefully later this week).

It is the final release candidate and hopefully this will be the released version.

It's not a common problem I think, I can not reproduce it anymore in every session, but sometimes Spark does not save the kit in Live, I don't know why!
Try a few things, try to load an old 1.5 set in the new version, save it with the 1.6 and open another project with Spark kit saved in live!
Now try to reopen the previously created set!
I'm doing it right now and the new kit is not saved in live!

Inside a Live project, without save the kit in spark! I always do that because I can't save all preset manually! With 1.5 version all work really well!

Ok,
I managed to reproduce the issue. This happens when you do not open Spark GUI before saving the Live project.
I might have to build a new RC .

Hi all,
the latest RC including the fix for the bug reported by Mauro is available here.

We will do another quick round of compatibility test at the beginning of next week but it will certainly be the released version.

Thanks kevin ,no problems found on rc8 on both spark and sparkle that i have found .
look forward to 1.7 testing and the new menu's for presets... and a fix for the add sample menu to be able to save a favorite location /drive/file....  i hope that is ..lol

Works fine here in Cubase 7 32bit and 64bit

2 small things here:

1st, when saving a new Project, "New Project #" is created, to be renamed. It remains after the project is renamed and saved. This creates a pile of new projects in the Library.

2nd, When the renaming dialogue box pops up in the Save As function, keyboard focus should go to the renaming window with the current project name highlighted so as to more easily navigate changing or overwriting the project name.
