Can't unlock ARP2600 V - Getting Error Message - Thanks
« on: May 14, 2013, 06:13:37 pm »
Hi,

We are an Arturia reseller, and we have a customer who is having some issues trying to unlock his ARP2600 V synth that he recently purchased from us.  I figured that someone in the forums might have the best chance of solving his issue. Thanks in advance for trying to help.

He says that he keeps getting an error code when trying to unlock / authorize the program. Here is the error message he's getting:

The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d)occurred
in the application at location 0x00489b53.  Application 'LCC2' has caused the
following error: DCOM connection to program "Synsopos.exe' failed. Error: The
remote procedure call failed.

He using an HP Pavillion Elite running Windows 7. It has an AMD processor and 8 GB of RAM. I'm not sure if this could be an issue, but currently he's trying to use a Built-in Realtek sound card rather than a better USB or FW based interface.  Does this issue look familiar to anyone here?  Any ideas on how to get him up and running?   Thank you very much in advance for trying to help!
