Analog factory crashing Ableton 8.4.1
« on: April 29, 2013, 01:39:14 pm »
Everytime I open Ableton  8.4.1 (32-bit) and it tries to load my plugin's it crashes. IThe Arturia dll is installed in my vst plugins folder (32-bit).  I can start the vst directly and see Analog Factory outside of Ableton and I can also see it loading into my copy of Open Labs Music OS.

When I remove the dll everything is fine and Ableton starts perfectly happily.

This seems strange to me as I thought I'd see more on the forums if it was a product issue, so I must guess it's something to do with the way I've installed the Analog Factory vst.

I tried reinstalling but I get the same issue. Could it be that I somehow installed the 64-bit version of the vst in my 32-bit folder? Is that even possible as I thought the installer installed both 32-bit and 64-bit in seperate folders anyway.

I'm away from home until Wednesday but thought I'd get the issue started now as I was completely puzzled over the weekend.

Thanks, Paul.
