I've read in another forum that the beta has halved the CPU load so I want to test it :-)

I'm interested.

Does this version happen to add the MIDI learn ability on the SparkLE interface?

no, it hasn't been fixed yet.. but they've said multiple times its going to be fixed in this version. I sure hope so.

Am I crazy or does changing pattern lengths no longer do 16 24 32 40 48 56 64... but 16 32 48 64? wasn't it by steps of 8 before?

feature request: In the gui, make it so shift click or something = select + function, so we don't have to press select all the time.

More importantly - how about a faster way to select a pad on the hardware rather than Select + Pad. I find that totally frustrating/cumbersome and would really like to have a quicker way to switch between instruments. How about making it an option to lock in to simultaneous pad select/play instead of just one or the other? Using select slows things down so much.
