Spark sequencer stops after playing 4 notes in standalone
« on: May 20, 2013, 09:18:26 am »
Hello everybody, I have a problem with my spark controller when I use it in standalone. When using it in logic, no problems at all, but when I want to create a drumloop in standalone-mode, it stops after playing 4 notes in the secuencer. Then I have to hit the stop button again, and then again the play button. I can hear the drumbeat for 4 notes, and then it stops again...
It has nothing to do with the settings in the top pannel, like time signature, bar, etc. It just stops after playing 4 notes...it happens with every drumkit I load into.
Hope that sombebody has a solution for this problem and its not a hardware-thing..I don't want to bring it back for repair, since I use the spark a lot...
Gr. Jeroen (the Netherlands, so sorry if I made some mistakes in my message...)

You probably have an active MIDI clock input.

Go to the Standalone preferences panel (cmd+[,]) and select None for the MIDI clock setting. See if that helps!

That was the trick. Thanks!
