Loading a new Kit, WITHOUT changing Routings, FX, etc ?!
« on: July 25, 2013, 05:29:23 pm »
Hello,
this is really driving my crazy. I am trying to try out various drum kits etc, using Spark in Logix X with Multi-Out and everytime I am loading a new Kit or Project it is also messing up my routing, mixer settings, etc. Is it still not possible to do it with the improved browser/ import options in v1.7 ? Any options to bypass it ? Any workaround?

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Hi , all project load with there default settings so if you use multi outs only the project you save like this will use multi out settings. what i do is make a project with my multi outs set up. then in the new browser i go through instruments or samples for each pad building as i go along. then save my work as a new project.

hope this helps

Thanks for your reply. Yes, but this is unintuitive for my workflow... . All I need is a bypass button in the browser for routings, plugins. The plugin so sophisticated and this is such an easy feature (ok i am not a programmer) to add. I can only hope a lot of people requesting it and it will be added in a future update. I hoped it will be in the 1.7 update, since it was focusing on the browser, which is otherwise a great improvement.

Regards,
Seb
