patch that crashes origin DSP?
« on: August 09, 2013, 05:48:04 am »
I seem to have created a killer patch...

It contains a Keyboard, Envelope, Output, Bode Shifter, Tonewheel and SEM filter.  I have patched the envelope to control the output and a signal path of ToneWheel -> Bode Shifter -> SEM -> Output  I haven't gotten any further than that.

If I load the patch, it makes no sound and neither will any patch I attempt to load after that.   I have to power off the Origin and restart it to get sound back.  Every other patch I try is fine..but that one always kills it very reliably.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Something is really wrong...I created a SECOND killer patch using the tonewheel.   This one only has an envelope and the tonewheel in it.  Why is this killying the audio output?

Further information...it seems to be refusing to load another patch.  No matter which patch I select and load, hitting edit I will only see the patch with the tonewheel in it.  This is extremely weird behavior.

Its just this one.  The second one works after a reboot.  It seems this one patch got saved corrupted or something..

when I get back home I will try to delete it and see what happens.
