ARP2600V and Spark together?
« on: October 23, 2013, 09:37:25 am »
I've recently purchased the Spark Creative Drum Machine.  It's running beauty on my new Macbook Air (dual i5 @ 1.85ghz) along with Ableton Live Intro 9.
Would anyone know if there's still enough CPU power to run ARP 2600 V as well?

Would the pair (2600 and Spark) run at the same time?

Not being able to afford a real ARP 2600 ... I'm damn impressed with the emulation from the 2600 V. :)

Thanks for any help / thoughts.

As well ... I'm trying to figure out why I've not been able to download the Demo of it.  I hadn't any troubles with the demo of Spark (before mine arrived) for my PC and Mac, as well as the Mg Modular V for my PC.  No luck on downloading anything else though.  Odd.  :-\
Until I can find out whether 2600 V will run well with Spark, I'll get back to my Serge modular and get it's sequencers up and running with Spark / Ableton. :)

Spark is awesome. Since buying Spark LE, I don't use my Maschine anymore because Spark has a really nice streamlined workflow I like and the x0x buttons on the hardware.
The other thing I'm having fun with is that you can control your other softsynths and even instrumentals
 synths with it! ???
