Keylab not working?
« on: December 24, 2013, 09:53:56 am »
Hi

I've just purchased a Keylab 49 and would like to check to see if it's faulty.  I downloaded the Analog Lab s/w (Mac). but could not find the midi control center zip file, only an update.  It seemed to work anyway, but the pads do not play my selected chords... I just get an incredibly high-pitched sound across the bottom row (sounds lke chords approx 5 octaves too high), and nothing from the others. The enveloped generators also seem to function quite randomly, although i suspect this is s/w related.  Any pointers gratefully recieved.

Thanks in advance

Jez

Thanks Ben - will have a look.  The kbd was replaced and now works fine.  However, I was wondering if I could get away without installing Midi Control Center.  I'm using Logic which has its own 'learn' mode (I'm familiar with) for controller assignment.  I'm playing live soon and don't want to risk the software crashing... btw, I'm not using Anlaog Lab software; I just wanted a new universal midi controller that looks great on stage and is well-built.  This is the coolest looking thing on the market by far.
