Trying To Identify A Preset
« on: August 27, 2007, 09:13:51 pm »
Hello!

There is a fantastic AF audio demo called "Mare Tranquilitas" which claims to use Mg Modular presets.  I love the lead sound (sounds like an old guitar synth), but I cannot figure out which preset it is.  Can anyone help?

Thanks, Vincent for your reply, as it seriously means a great deal to me, and shows that your company really cares!

Yes, I have run through the MMV presets, and "Oasis" sounds close, but not exact.  Maybe there are some extra effects ... although it supposedly is a preset ... I dunno, but it sounds like one of the old Roland guitar synths, which is what I am trying to recreate.

Love Analog Factory!!!

sorry, I don't currently have the time to have a closer look...
good luck! And you're right, there could be some extra effects...
..and have you tried to look for a 'guitar' pretset in the other synth banks?

Turns out, for anyone interested, that it is a lovely preset called "OASIS," which is what I originally believed (I remember this sound from the demo).  Now, if I could figure out how to adjust the Vibrato with the Mod wheel (currently not happening) ...
