So when is the Jupiter V2 coming out?!
« on: November 24, 2009, 08:47:11 am »
Last I heard several months ago it was slated for November, we're almost into december and still no word about it.  Anybody have a clue as to when this will be out yet??
also would like to know about the prophet v2 as well.

WTF ??????? IS THIS TOTALLY ABANDONED ??? IS ANYONE FROM ARTURIA EVEN REDING OUR POSTS ???? WTF IS GOING ON ???? WHY ALL THIS SILENCE ???

apologies for the CAPS, however, i'm getting quite a bit angry over this complete and utter lack of support or even acknowledgement of the user-base existence by the devs !

Yep, there is someone reading your posts. But not necessarily replying same hour/day.  ;)

The Jupiter-8V 2.0 still is under heavy surgery.
I have no firm release date to give, so I won't make you dream with badly cooked details. But unfortunately it won't be released in November'09, as you may have already noticed.

Concerning the "complete and utter lack of support", you are a bit rude, aren't you? This forum lives, and the Tech Support runs just fine.
But yep, I assume our developers do not spend much time here, I presume these strange geeks prefer coding rather than talking to humans.  ;D

You clearly own the right to voice your concerns, as any one here, including me!   :)
Let's just keep our calm and talk as gentlemen.

Okay, the Prophet-V v2.0 is on the way to be released: we are currently synchronizing the documentation, the communication details, the databases, the last-hour sound-design tweaks, etc. It won't take too long now.
So yes, the Prophet-V 2.0 will be the next one to reach your DAW.

thanks for your further reply Antoine. this at least makes me feel a lot better, in the sense that you guys are indeed interested in what the users have to say.
however, is there an ETA for the JP8V update ? i already own CS80V and the MgModularV and the CS80's v2 was an extremely pleasant surprise in terms of sonics. this made me even more anxious for the up and coming JP8 update...
