Editor doesn't load core audio problem
« on: March 25, 2004, 10:36:00 pm »
Just bought the mini after demoing it in the shop.
Installation went ok but when I try to fire it up in Logic, on a G4 800 under OSX 10.2.8 I get a core audio error message. The blue controlwindow opens up and I can play it, but I can't open up the keyboard window and choose presets. I installed the whole thing again, and restarted logic but it's a no go.

Anyone had this problem?

Just change the latency settings in Logic's Audio Hardware Preferences. That did the trick for me.

I Just installed Logic Pro 6.4.1. and re-installed the miniMgv again, it's working fine now. It wasn't a latency problem, problably a conflict with logic 6.0.

I have the same problem running 10.2.8 and Logic 6.3.3.
I don't think I HAVE to buy 6.4.1 to make this thing work.. That's stupid.
I don't think it's a latency problem either... Sucks...
What's the fix Mr Tech support

I found my problem.. miniMg app had to be placed in the applications folder.
