2.0.1 beta 4 stuck hardware lights
« on: June 10, 2014, 08:26:49 pm »
This is a strange one can someone check this

Inside cubase export a midi pattern to spark channel

Turn off host and set the daw tempo to 137 bpm

Check if the lights are triggering on the hardware correctly im using sparkle

For me there mainly stuck on for the pads they should be triggering

Weird tested again this morning

Cubase elements 64 bit 135 bpm

Ableton lite 64 bit 140 bpm

Same again with Cubase artist 64 bit 137 bpm

Im using a dual boot so elements and lite where tested on the same version W7 64 BIT  but separate installation

I will test  on W8 laptop and see if I get the same results for elements and lite

Windows 8 enterprise laptop

127 bpm elements 64 bit

121 bpm elements 32 bit

134 bpm ableton lite 64 bit

Weird bug

All i can say is vary the tempo of your daw and see if you get stuck lights

If not its something my side

HI , i have tested this on my spark cdm controller and can confirm i can get stuck lights .but only if i change tempo quickly , this is probably not a fault of spark but cubase as you are moving the notes in time so speeding up to quickly would miss the off note command . not sent by cubase .so the light stays on.
