FX during Song Mode?

In Song Mode are the patterns supposed to advance when using an FX like the Slicer Repeat?  I was under the assumption something like that would "hold it in place."  (Get what I'm saying?)

Hi,
for the moment the song continues "in background" when you are using the slicer.
Someone asked if we could stop it then when you release the slicer, it resumes at the places it was when you started the slicer.
It is a good idea but we will not have the time to implement it before the release.
Probably in the next version.

As an option, it's a good feature, but only as an option, because it's important to let the song go also, like it's implemented now.

Yeah; I was just thinking that for live use you'd want to pick up in a song where you left off after freaking people out with the slicer effect.

Hey, I just wanted to add that I agree with CC4. Variation is what's going to set spark apart from the competition. The more unique functions it has the more people are going to want it

I think I've already tried this (must check again): just press the Song button so it stays in the current pattern, while Slicing. Then, engage Song again to continue


...easier and more natural to do when the controller is available
