Analog Laboratory crashing Cubase 4
« on: June 03, 2011, 09:59:55 pm »
Hello all,

It's out of sheer frustration that I post this in the hope someone else out there has had the same problem and found a solution.

I've been running Cubase 4, (inc it's most current update) with seldom any problems including Arturia's Prophet V as a plug in. I've just installed Analog Laboratory which as a standalone runs perfectly fine, however, when I try to run Cubase the Cubase splash screen runs as far as informing me that it's initializing the AL VST plug in at which point Cubase crashes. I've removed the AL plug in from the VST folder and Cubase runs fine which indicates that the problem is being cause by AL.

I'm running it all on a Mac Pro, Quad Core Intel machine with 2 Gb's of RAM and Mac OSX 10.6.7

Kind regards

Paul
