Experience Keyboard: NRPN Controllers broken?
« on: June 17, 2011, 11:23:58 pm »
Hey there,

I own the 49-keyboard "Analog Experience: The Laboratory" version; I want to use that (seemingly very useable) hardware as master keyboard for some rack synthesizer of mine.

Though, I have to use some MIDI Controllers in the so-called NRPN mode, where they don't send normal MIDI values, but some different thing split up in an LSB and MSB (Least / Most Significant Byte). In the end, you have more possible controller numbers then.

Anyways, this seems to be broken. The LSB (MSB) setting appears to be controlled by the same value as the Min (Max) value is. So, when I set the Least Significant Byte to 8, I also set the minimum controller value to 8!

This, of course, is completely unusable! Can anyone confirm this problem?

Greetings,
Felix
