Sound Volume in Ableton Live is too low
« on: June 21, 2011, 09:38:57 am »
Hi Arturia,

I like spark and the concept, but....
I put the spark mixer and all the intruments on in the highest volume but the volume is still much too low in live? This reminds me of the volume issues oft the first versions of Jupiter 8v? Can I change this anyhow?

Thanx,

Fredarik

Hi Guardner,

thanks for your reply. I have this issue especially when I use the "emulations" like the 808 and I turn off all the effects. When I than turn up the volume to the maximum, it is still too low...

Hi Guardner

I would love to use the compressor...or the other effects...but well. I'm sorry and with all the respect: They are horrible - especially the distortion and the decimator. Also the emulation quality far away from being good. Just listen to the 808 Emulation without the effects, than you know what I mean. This has absolutely nothing to do with an 808. Is this really the best that TAE can do concerning emulating drums? I mean is this the same TAE that is making beautiful instruments like the Jupiter 8v possible? Listen to Nepheton vst for example? No TAE, but the best 808 Emulation ever. This should be possible / beatable?!?! I really really hope that arturia will improve that in the next updates! What do you think?

Best Regards,

Fredarik
