Prophet VS patch compatibility

does the plugin read and write (or send & receive, etc) real Prophet VS patch dumps?

Yes, sort of.
You have to convert/store the patch dumps to .syx file format first.
Then click on the "import" button of Prophet-V toolbar. A local menu appears, pick there either "Pro 5 sysex" or "Pro VS sysex" according to the actual content of the sysex message.

can Prophet V export patches to syx, too? ideally i'd like to create patches in the software then export to the hardware.
