Classic Polyphonic Sounds (Download)
« on: January 31, 2012, 07:11:35 pm »
For those of you who bought the SEM V with the 4 and 8 voice sounds in mind....

Here you go....

http://www.gamefront.com/files/21270669/Borseti+Files.obsx

I don't care if these are added to the new update coming out, in fact, it would be an honor.
Just know that these sounds aren't organized into categories, they're all just in one bank.

Classic sounds though......

Enjoy,

-Adam Borseti

Thanks very much. I'll give these a play tomorrow. Do you know how to get a unison detune on the arturia SEM? Would sound massive but can't seem to figure out a way.
Cheers

Oberman,
Does your link still work?  I just see a bunch of computer game stuff.  It would be cool if you included at least one of your Unison patches, like the one you were showing on another thread.

Sorry about that. I guess my link died.

Here's another one.... which will also probably die eventually......... but hey!

So, I've actually got quite a few patches here..... some of em' are really awesome, others, like
the patch "PulseWidth Bliss" are so gorgeous that they bring tears to my eyes. :D

The last patch is called "Wichita"...... guess what THAT IS!? :D

As for the unison patches, I think there's only 1... I called it "Four Voice Unison".... very Styx-like.

Enjoy, people!

-Adam

PS: PERHAPS ARTURIA CAN GIVE ME SOME MONEY FOR THESE IN THE FUTURE, WINK WINK.

Thank you!!!! I'll try them soon!................It seems Arturia has it set up that I can't Import the patches because I'm using the demo version.  Curses!   Anybody know how to do it with the demo version?

Yeah, sorry man....

That's a demo limitation. You're not going to be able to use my sounds unless you buy the software. I can assure you, the synth IS great.... but it's up to you.

It's a nice synth (though my joystick doesn't work with it in Cubase LE4).  Though I recently got Jupiter 8-V, CS-80V, ARP 2600-V, MiniMg-V, and Analog Laboratory (at a great deal), so it's not like I'm in desperate need of another soft synth right now.  Fair chance I'll end up with it in the future (especially if they get Unison going).  One thing I'm concerned about though: at least with the demo version of Oberheim SEM-V in Cubase LE4, a lot of my factory presets for the ARP 2600-V emit no sound.  When the demo SEM-V is deleted from my computer, I have a lot less problems with that issue for some strange reason.

Edit: I fully deleted the (expired) trial version of Oberheim SEM-V, yet most of my ARP2600-V patches have no sound.  Only the simplest patches are now working.  Yet the ARP sounds are working fine in Analog Laboratory, even if I open a Laboratory patch in the full-fledged ARP2600-V.  I don't understand.....

Edit: I later learned if I re-boot the computer with an ARP2600-V track in Cubase LE4, it works OK after that.

@Oberman,

Why don't you attach your sounds right here to your posts instead of uploading them anywhere else and posting (broken) links? ;)

Just open the additional options and choose the files you want to attach!
