Demo License?

I downloaded the demo, and it seems that no demo license has installed (and I have not gotten an email with a demo license).

I did, but my access today has been spotty. it seemed to submit, but I'll try again.

The plot thickens:

I did eventually get a code. I looked at my e-licenser, and saw that Wurlitzer V was not listed among the licenses on my dongle or HD, so I requested the code.

I got a message that a license was already found, so none was downloaded. Cleared the memory and ran the maintenance app. Still no sign of a Wurlitzer V demo license.

I uninstalled, with the intention of reinstalling. Note: on uninstall, Wurlitzer V.exe was not removed. I had to remove that manually.

After reinstalling, I repeated all of the above and got the same message. Of course, when I tried to run as stand alone or within Cubase 6.5.2, no license was found.

Once the activation code in hands:
1. Launch the eLicenser Control Center;
2. Click "Enter Activation Code", paste it here, check the expected license sounds good, then go forward;
3. Select the destination: Soft-eLicenser (default) or USB-eLicenser (if you have any Steinberg key);
4. Download the license, check no error appears; if ant, click the "Maintenance" button;
5. Once the License is downloaded and displayed OK, launch the instrument in standalone mode to check everything runs as it should.

I did that (several times, actually). As the attached screen caps shows, it still says that a license exists (though it does not show on the dongle).

The same thing happened to me two or three times, until I closed my DAW and any other related program, and reopened the Elicenser controlsenter, then it suddenly worked.

Interesting. The thing is, I have tried this 5 times and rebooted each time. Same problem each time. I even tried requesting an new demo code, No luck.

I've never had this problem before, either with Arturia (or Steiny for that matter).

Hope an Admin chimes in here soon.

Yeah, it seem strange, somewhere in the system (or the program elicenser) it's still some info about a demo-code in use...I thought it maybe was the old Spark demo-code  I had before, that resulted in that error, but when I restarted the program, I made sure to run maitenance and update from the support-meny,- but I don't know if that was what fixed it for me.

For a moment I thought that it was not possible to run both a demo on Spark AND the Wurlitzer at the same time, as the error-code pointed me to that conclusion,- but really, I don't know...

I had the exact same thought!

I've run the maintenance app several and tried to update the database (it was up-to-date).

A puzzle.

Well....I don't know, the only thing I can do is to repeat the EXACT sequence on how I did it:

Reopen Control senter, run both maintenance and database update,- all this with all plugins and DAW turned off,- then reopen once more the control center and try to activate the license.
Although I'm sure you have done this  exactly the same way....

Other than that maybe a registry clean before this procedure...
