Favorites (Snapshots)... How to set?

I can't find a way to set the favorites on the Jupiter-8V 2.5. I have read the whole manual and searched the forum, but I can't find an answer. Does anybody know how to make a patch a favorite, so I can recall it by clicking on one of the 16 favorites buttons?

Oh.... and maybe somebody knows why they've different colors !?!
