Hi

I know 1.5 is being worked on, and some of this may even be in...but in case it isn't...

Many (most?) of us have big or duel monitors, the 'tall' expanded display just doesnt suit; I think the 'pretty' graphics often impact workfloww....

A few sugestions...

1- Sequencer should be either floating or come out of the side....most of us have longer monitors than we do tall! The same can be said of the mixer view etc, although I use this less often...

2- The sequencer should expand to show all steps not just 16...I have the screen real estate to view 64 steps- why mimic the hardware limitations on screen?

Cheers!

+1 for me!

The floating step sequencer is a very very good idea!

+++woot . I total agree, way more real estate sideways than up and down. A floating sequencer would just get lost tho IMO. I'd just hope for a menu option to allow sideways stacking (left/right/middle) vs. Top down (top/center/bottom).  Also a shortcut keystroke to jump from steps 1-16 to 17-32, left/right movement, or maybe a shift+1/2/3/4 to 'jump' to a group of steps without 'mouse'ing around for it. 64 steps all across the screen would be dope as well.

I'm positive this is on the minds of many users, but I can't believe you want horizontal - that's still too much real estate.

What would be best is what many other synth makers do - tabs.  OK, with an option to float the tabs in separate windows  ;)

It's a good thing, but I think it's not possible to float a VST windows....
I don't think that in the Steimberg code implement this possibility at the time  ::)

Also get rid of the animation that reveals the other part of the window.  It's annoying to have to wait for the windows to appear and just wastes time.
