Filter bleed normal on Microbrute?
« on: May 04, 2014, 07:49:23 pm »
Got a Microbrute and noticed that in HP mode with the cutoff all the way clockwise, there is a substantial amount of sound that still comes through. This is with the master volume at about half. This is true for all waveforms.

The Quickstart in the book specifically mentions that it should be silent.

Messing with the LP mode, you can get it to bleed with higher osc mixer settings and master volume all the way up.

Granted, this would never really be an issue in normal use, but if something is out of whack, I would return it for another unit.

Anyone have experience with this? Normal or not?

It sounds like you might have the crosstalk problem going on... Check this thread and see:

It is an easy fix but you if you can, you might want to just take it back (and try another at the store if possible).

Definitely doesn't sound normal though.
