btw the new software provided has no option to update the firmware if an update fails, i had to download an older firmware (incl software) to get my brute to respond again after a failed update and after that i could finally update it to 1.0.3

Do you guys purposely try to annoy your customers or is it just incompetence?

Or maybe it's just an oversight after a week of work?

By the way, it took me 1 minute to find out! Maybe there is another way but i use MIDI CC number 122 messages: with a value of 127 local is ON, with a value of 0 local is OFF. Just test it in logic pro, working great. At your own risk if it's not the "official" way to do it.

Thanx Bruno :)
After you disconnect from Logic, does it then stay that way? and would the same workaround apply for the wierd midi note blocade that happens when you use an external sequencer?

The link posted by Bruno is broken and the BruteConnection software also cannot locate a firmware update when clicking "check update"

In fact a large number of links to Arturia resources are now broken.

Where is the most up to date firmware to be located ?

Most of the forum links are broken because they updated there main website and it changed the structure

Hope this helps

When will the midi out transmit midi clock data? That one feature would make my little synth for me... Without it, it's just a headache and the question "Why doesn't it?"

Hi. I'm new at this.

Does the new feature of "Local ON/OFF supported" mean I can turn off the local clock?

Does this mean the ARP will be based on an external midi clock instead?

Thanks.

Answered my own question via Google.

LOCAL ON/OFF : MIDI Channel Message that sets whether your keyboard is going to trigger its internal sounds (Local ON) or not (Local OFF). This is a vital parameter to have control over in order to avoid loops and double-triggers when your keyboard is part of a larger, computer-involving rig of equipment.

Hi!

Any way to store the LOCAL setting into flash memory (i have to redo it eact time i turn off the MB..)?

if i get it right the manual says we have to use the editor to store something in flash memory but local setting can't be edited in the software editor...
