In regards to the firmware

Can someone guide me on how to run the LED file through my macbook pro (OS X v.10.7.5)?
I've downloaded the BeatStep-v1.1.0.0-20140616.led this morning and I don't know what to do from this point on :(

you need to open the midi control center, go to device tab, then firmware upgrade
