Exporting separate audio files into DAW
« on: July 05, 2014, 11:41:54 pm »
Can spark export audio files separately into a DAW?

Atm, drag audio from export in spark 2.1 sequencer and get one audio file with all the instruments on it. A frequency battlefield...

For example in maschine mk2 I can export audio, choose the instruments I want to export. Export them to a folder on my desktop and drag
and drop them on to their own lanes in the DAW. Simple, clean, cool.

With spark I'm using the workaround of sending audio from spark into DAW, sending it to audio tracks and recording the audio realtime..Talk about sllllloooooowwww yawwwwnnn!

I'm already bored of doing it and reaching for maschine as my weapon of choice once again...

Hi, if i need separate tracks for my instruments i  set up multi audio channels then batch export the sequence you need  then i have separate audio lanes to mix or process . or you could just solo the instrument then just audio export that instrument using the daw export.

Can you explain how you go about batch exporting please.

Thanks in advance.

HI , first which daw are you using .as in logic x loop the region  you want to export and choose file >export>all as audio  .
In cubase choose export in the file menu , then in the box tick on the batch export button and choose what track s you want to export.
im a cubase user more than logic but most daws have a way to export audio.

Hi Terry.

I thinks we may have crossed wires here..

I want to export the patterns from spart into logic x.

At present I go to spart sequencer and  drag the red export audio button to my workspace (arrange window in logic x)
When it loads into logic x all the instruments are on one audio region.

I want to export all of sparks instrument patterns into logic x in one go.

So when I drop the audio files into logic they each have their own lane.
