Hi, well, the paper manual is available when you buy the product, or if I remember well, also as "standalone" item in the Arturia store. I don't think there's any pdf around...
You could also ebay for the original (or copied) 2600 manual, just to have a better idea of the hardware instrument.
My advice is: it's a demo, so have fun listening to the presets (many of them are really inspiring and beautiful, in my opinion) and trying to tweak some knobs...
something will happen! ;-)

Thanks.

It turns out (and I hope they don't mind me saying this on the website) Arturia's website is in need of some simple practical help right now. There IS a manual - but it's very hard to find. Just by being my usual relentless self I discovered it here: ftp://ftp2.arturia.com/downloads/help/ So any good webdesigners in the Grenoble area should contact them right away!

Sounds like you know something about the instrument. Paul Bley was one of the early experimenters with it - which is what brought me here. I've been listening to the recent re-release of his 70's albums ("the paul bley synthesizer show" and "scorpio" - now called circles) on which he uses Ring Modulation to create a sound like a mosquito pretending to be John Coltrane. It's very interesting.

If you join the Yahoo 2600 V group, they have a scan of the original 2600 manual in the files section. Quite interesting from a historical point of view (and lots of cute hand drawn diagrams, no graphics packages in those days :) )
