How do I properly use this filter type? I am aware on how to use the LPF and HPF, but is MMF bandpass or something more?

MMF is for Multi Mode Filter.
MMF1: you control cutoff and filter type (from LP to HP) on X axis and resonance on Y axis.
MMF2: you control cutoff on X axis and resonance and and filter type (from LP to HP) on Y axis.
