ARTURIA announces new features for STORM at NAMM 2002

Grenoble, FRANCE – January 17, 2002 – For the third year running, Arturia, the manufacturer of STORM Music Studio, will be present at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles (Hall A, booth 6824). Arturia will introduce brand-new features of its highly acclaimed Storm application, as well as development plans for 2002.

After the releases of Storm 1.5 and 1.5.1 in 2001, the newest additions to the studio will be officially announced and presented at the NAMM Show. 3 major announcements are to be made:
  • Mac OS X compatibility. Today, Storm is actually the first and unique audio application available on Mac OS X (read the special press release on the subject)
  • The release of a new module: an analog-sounding polyphonic chord synthesizer of an unparalleled power. Shadow is the 23rd module created for the Storm studio and without any doubt will soon be a reference for the creation of chords and pads (read the special press release on the subject)
  • Addition of a composition assistant. This composition wizard is made to help users create their first song in less than 40 steps. Even if they are absolute beginners, by following the wizard, first-time users will directly discover and understand the features of Storm while making their first composition!
These three big improvements in the Storm Studio will be demonstrated every day at Arturia’s stand. Please don't hesitate in contacting us if you wish to meet us at the show and see Storms most recent additions in action. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the show !
