Power Supply for Analogue Factory controller
« on: July 23, 2010, 10:35:17 am »
Hi .
I've just got hold of the 'Analogue experience - The Factory' which ships with a 32 key midi controller. I already have a main midi keyboard which USB's into my mac ( running Logic 9 ).
I want to slave the small keyboard, so they both work. I'm assuming that I just need to midi them together, but I need power for the Arturia controller... Should this have come with the package because it didn't... Where can I get one from please..?

The Analog Experience keyboards are powered via USB (whether from a computer, or from a universal USB power supply), therefore Arturia does not include an external power adapter (it says "optional, sold separately" on the box).

If you want to purchase an external power supply (from Radio Shack or similar store), you need to check the following specs:
- Output Voltage: between 9 and 12 VDC (DC, not AC)
- Current: 500mA (0.5A) or more
- Polarity: Positive Center pin (this is very important!)
